We break our fast at Istana Budaya yesterday. It is the 2nd time for me. The first was years back with my wife (girlfriend at that time
).I have lost interest in breaking fast with buffet offered by hotels or restaurant. It is not worth it provided its free. I hate the most when people start to queue up for food 40 minutes before azan and pile up food on the plate as if we are having some sort of food shortage for the past 10 years.
Fasting is to teach us to feel and experience the hardship of the less fortunate. At the same time it is very important for our well being as we let our digestion system to rest and recoup and fasting is a form of detoxification process. Furthermore, how are we suppose to perform our rituals when we are stomach full?
So how are we going to justify our wastage during this ramadan? And is it justify to pay hundreds just to waste?I thank God for the enlightment…
By the way, these are some not so good quality pictures (wait till I get my hands on a new DSLR) for the Iftar yesterday…
